Mohammed Y. Al-Tarawneh is an international expert in human rights, disability inclusion, accessibility, universal design, governance, and international development. He served as a Member of the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (2009–2016) and was its Founding Chairperson (2009–2010), leading the Committee during its formative years.
Throughout his career, he has advised governments, UN agencies, international organizations, and development partners on inclusive policies, legislation, institutional reform, and accessible environments.
He currently serves on the Board of G3ict and continues to promote inclusive digital transformation and the full implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities worldwide.
