Irene Mbari-Kirika

Irene Mbari-Kirika is the Founder and Executive Director of inABLE, a nonprofit empowering Africans with disabilities through technology. She is a leading advocate for digital accessibility and spearheaded Kenya’s ICT Accessibility Standard (KS 2952:2023). She is also leading the development of Africa’s Harmonized Accessibility Standard for ICT Products and Services.

Irene is the Founder and Convener of the Inclusive Africa Conference and Founder and CEO of Technoprise Global, a digital accessibility firm that employs people with disabilities. She serves on the Board of Directors of G3ict and previously served on the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative Steering Council.
