Monica Ackermann, P.Eng., is a leader in digital accessibility and inclusive technology policy, focused on how organizations operationalize accessibility within complex technical and regulatory environments.
She is the former Head of Accessibility at Scotiabank and currently serves on the board of G3ict, where she co-chairs the Digital Accessibility Standards Harmonization working group. She is also a former board member of the ARCH Disability Law Centre and holds a Master’s degree in Critical Disability Studies from York University.
Her work bridges accessibility, digital governance, and responsible technology, advancing accessibility as both a fundamental right and a business imperative.
