Shilpi Kapoor is a serial entrepreneur, accessibility advocate, and technology leader with 18+ years of experience working to make digital technology accessible and inclusive for people with disabilities.
She is the Founder of BarrierBreak, a leading digital accessibility consulting and testing company, and 247 Accessible Documents, which helps organizations create accessible digital documents. She also founded Newz Hook, a media platform focused on disability, inclusion, and accessibility.
A strong advocate for accessibility standards and policy, Shilpi has contributed to national accessibility initiatives in India and served on organizations including NASSCOM’s Disability Advisory Group and G3ICT.
Her work has been recognized through honors including NITI Aayog’s Top 15 Women Transforming India, Business Today’s Top 20 Most Powerful Women in Business, the Ashoka Fellowship, and the NCPEDP–Shell Helen Keller Award.
